Uitleg
Vroeger Phyllitis sagittata genoemd. Deze Asplenium ontleent zijn naam aan de pijlvorm van zijn bladeren. Het is een zeldzame soort in zijn hele omgeving, het wordt gevonden in kalkrotsen, op het noorden, aan de kustgebieden en in natte valleien.
Ervaringen
Zaailingen van sporen uit de natuur die wat onderwerpen gaven, de groei is nogal traag maar we zouden dit jaar mooie voeten moeten krijgen. Wat betreft Asplenium-hemionitis, planten lijken qua uiterlijk behoorlijk op elkaar, althans in het juveniele stadium.

Botanische beschrijving
Als de luchtvochtigheid voldoende is, heeft de steel twee of vier basale bladeren die pijlvormig zijn. Wanneer bladeren slecht ontwikkeld zijn, is het taxon gemakkelijk te verwarren met kleine soorten van Asplenium scolopendrium. Hun ecologie verschilt echter sterk, omdat de Asplenium sagittatum zich strikt beperkt tot de Middellandse Zee en Macaronesië.
