Description
Cette sous-espèce porte le nom de Wilfred Alexander Watt de Beuzeville (1884-1954). Il a publié un livre Australian Trees for Australian Planting (1947) et des articles scientifiques. Il était un botaniste et écologiste expérimenté et a collecté de nombreux spécimens d'eucalyptus, échantillonnant souvent la variation d'une espèce à une localité ou à travers des gradients altitudinaux. Eucalyptus pauciflora est une espèce qui peut avoir un port allant du mallée jusqu'à un arbre de grande taille. E. pauciflora subsp. debeuzevillei est présent sur les plus hauts sommets au sud des monts Franklin et McKeahnie dans le Territoire de la capitale australienne jusqu'à la chaîne de Jounama près de Yarrangobilly et la région de Yaouk Peak, tous deux dans le sud-est de la Nouvelle-Galles du Sud.

Description botanique
C'est un arbre ou mallée atteignant jusqu'à 10m de haut. Il forme un lignotuber. L'écorce est lisse, grise, blanche, crème ou brun clair, souvent avec des 'gribouillis', sillons creusés par des insectes. Les rameaux sont généralement glauques. La tige est arrondie en coupe transversale, généralement glauque.
Les feuilles juvéniles sont opposées et brièvement pétiolées sur environ 5 nœuds puis alternes, pétiolées, ovales à largement lancéolées. Elles mesurent 5,5 à 9cm de long pour 3 à 5,5cm de large. La base est tronquée à arrondie ou atténuée au pétiole, tendant à oblique, le limbe est terne, bleu-vert ou glauque. Les feuilles adultes sont alternes, pétiolées sur 1,2 à 2,5cm de long. Le limbe est largement lancéolé à lancéolé ou falciforme et mesure 7,5 à 18cm de long pour 1,6 à 5cm de large, base oblique ou atténuée au pétiole, le limbe est concolore, brillant, vert à bleu-vert, à nervures parallèles, peu à modérément réticulé. La nervure intramarginale est parallèle et bien éloignée de la marge.
L'inflorescence est axillaire non ramifiée, avec des pédoncules de 0,4 à 1,3cm de long. Il y a 9 à 15 bourgeons par ombelle, sessiles ou à pédicelles jusqu'à 0,2cm de long. Les bourgeons matures sont claviformes à oblongs, avec des angles longitudinaux aigus, 0,8 à 1,2cm de long pour 0,4 à 0,6cm de large, généralement glauques et verruqueux. La cicatrice est absente, opercule conique. Les étamines sont infléchies ou irrégulièrement fléchies, les anthères réniformes à cordées, polyvalentes, dorsifixées, déhiscentes par des fentes confluentes. Le style est court, le stigmate est émoussé ou effilé, 3 ou 4 locules. Les fleurs sont blanches.
Le fruit est sessile ou avec des pédicelles jusqu'à 0,2cm de long, en forme de coupe à en forme de tonneau ou obconique, il mesure 0,8 à 1,3cm de long pour 0,7 à 1,2cm de large, souvent légèrement incliné longitudinalement, généralement glauque. 3 ou 4 soupapes, fermées ou proche du niveau du bord. Les graines sont brun foncé ou grises et mesurent 1,5 à 2,2mm de long, pyramidales ou obliquement pyramidales, la surface dorsale est lisse, le hile est terminal.

PRINTEMPS Sélectionner les graines NOIRES les plus grosses et les plus charnues. Garder pendant 6 semaines au frigo à 4°C dans le substrat humide. Semer les graines à 2mm de profondeur dans le Terreau drainant pour semis entre 15-20°C. Pendant la germination garder le substrat humide et à la lumière du jour. Les graines germent en 3-6 semaines.
