Dans la section Adnataria, Eucalyptus sideroxylon 'Fawcett's Pink' fait partie d'une petite série de sous-groupes Melliodorae, caractérisée en outre par des bourgeons en grappes axillaires, l'opercule externe étant conservé jusqu'à la floraison lorsque les deux opercules sont répandus ensemble, et les fleurs ayant des étamines externes qui sont stériles tandis que les étamines internes sont fertile, et un large anneau staminal qui peut souvent être vu sur le fruit mais qui est finalement caduque.

PRINTEMPS Sélectionner les graines BRUNES les plus grosses et les plus charnues. Semer les graines à 2mm de profondeur dans le Terreau drainant pour semis entre 20-25°C. Pendant la germination garder le substrat humide et à la lumière du jour. Les graines germent en 3-6 semaines. La viabilité des graines, gardées sous des bonnes conditions, est 10 années.
