Description
Cette espèce a une répartition éparse. Ses occurrences sont les villes d’Austin, Avon, Coolgardie, Helms, dans les plaines ou les collines rocheuses. Le substrat est très drainant et composé de sable acide, limons graveleux et sous-sol argileux. Il est à noter qu’elle se développe mieux en tant que tronc multiple. C’est un Eucalyptus tolérant à la sècheresse et résistant à la plupart des gelées. Il n’aime pas l’eau stagnante à ses pieds.

Description botanique
Il est considéré comme un arbuste ou arbre. Il se présente avec un tronc unique ou parfois plusieurs résultant d’un lignotuber. Son écorce est parfois rugueuse à la base et lisse sur la partir haute du tronc, de couleur grise à gris-brun, qui se desquame en été et laisse apparaitre en automne sa nouvelle écorce brune. Les jeunes rameaux sont rougeâtres.
Les feuilles juvéniles sont opposées puis alternes, pétiolées, ovales et pubescentes. Les feuilles adultes mesurent 8 à 11cm de long pour 1,5cm de large, principalement alternes, parfois opposées, étroitement lancéolées à finement falciformes. D’un vert terne à moyen brillant.
L’inflorescence est simple, axillaire, composée de 3 fleurs, pédonculée sur 1cm de long. Les bourgeons mesurent 1cm de long pour 0,8cm de large, pyriformes, pétiolés, opercule hémisphérique. Les fleurs atteignent un diamètre de 1,8cm, les étamines sont blanches à crème, abondantes et remarquables.
Les fruits mesurent 1cm de hauteur pour autant de large. Ils sont en forme de coupe (cupuliforme), pétiolés, de couleur brun-rouge, brillants, aux valves exsertes. Les graines sont retenues dans le fruit, les noires sont plus petites que les marrons. Celles-ci germent facilement.

Le Genre: Eucalyptus Sous-genre: Eudesmia Section: Ebbanoenses ayant les caractères suivants : Des cotylédons de forme réniforme et pliés et serrés dans l'embryon, les feuilles juvéniles généralement avec des poils étoilés, les bourgeons avec le calice fusionné à la corolle et évidente comme quatre petites dents à l'apex du bourgeon - dans le sous-genre Eudesmia, Sections Limbatae et Complanatae ont des lobes de calice libres évidents sous forme de quatre petites dents autour de la ligne médiane du bourgeon - étamines disposées en quatre faisceaux et présence de glandes sébacées dans la moelle des rameaux. Au sein de ce sous-genre taxonomiquement complexe, Eucalyptus ebbanoensis est la seule espèce de la section Ebbanoenses, qui se distingue par l'absence presque complète de veines tertiaires dans les feuilles adultes et les graines ovoïdes dépourvues de rebord marginal.
Plante utile
Cette espèce est appréciée pour son miel, idéale pour les cultures, elle a également du potentiel pour les espaces sauvages des zones arides et semi-arides.

PRINTEMPS Sélectionner les graines NOIRES les plus grosses et les plus charnues. Semer les graines à 2mm de profondeur dans le Terreau drainant pour semis entre 18-22°C.
