Description
This species is from Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. It is an uncommon to rare species, confined to coastal districts of north-eastern New South Wales and south-eastern Queensland.

Botanical Description
It is a small to medium sized shrub, 1-2.5m x 0.5-1m. The young shoots are glabrous or hairy. The leaves are 5-10cm long. There are 6-10 leaflet pairs, 1-2cm long x 0.5cm, linear to oblong, dark green, shiny. There are 2-6 flowers, in short loose axillary umbels, 2-2.5cm across, orange-yellow. The pods are 7-10cm long, flat, straight, brown.
Useful plant
It responds to regular water and slow release fertilizers. It is inclined to become straggly and requires regular pruning to maintain shape. It is good for coastal areas.

Sowing instructions
SPRING Soak in acetone with 0.1% Gibberellic acid GA3, just covering the seeds, for 24:00 hours then wash thoroughly in running tap water. Sow the seeds at 2mm depth in the Well Drained Seed Sowing Mix between 68-77°F. During germination keep the substrate moist and in daylight. The seeds germinate in 2-4 weeks.

Cuttings instructions
Take the cuttings at the end of spring, soak them in a hormonal preparation for cuttings. Plant them in a substrate rich in perlite and keep them sufficiently moist in sealed freezer bags.
