Description
This species is from Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Arabia, northern Africa, Sinai, Egypt.

Botanical Description
This is a shrub to 1.5-3m. The young branches, spines, leaves, peduncles and calyx are grey tomentose, rarely glabrous.

The leaves are oblanceolate-oblong to linear-oblong, 7-10 x 2.5-3.5mm.

The clusters are 1-2-flowered. The peduncles are 1-8mm. The calyx is narrowly tubular, to 5mm, with 5 equal teeth. The corolla is 10-16.5mm, lobes 1.5-3mm, ciliate, 4.5 x as short as narrowly tubular corolla tube. The filaments are glabrous, corolla tube sometimes hairy within.

The berry is red, globose, 3-5 mm.
