Description
Formerly called Phyllitis sagittata, this Asplenium gets its name from the arrow-shape of its fronds. It is a rare species throughout its range, it is found in limestone cliffs, facing north, facing the sea and in wet valleys very near the coast.
Experiences
Seedlings of spores from nature which gave some subjects, the growth is rather slow but we should start to have beautiful feet this year. As for Asplenium hemionitis, plants quite similar in appearance, at least in the juvenile stage.

Botanical Description
If the humidity is sufficient, the limb has two or four basal leaves giving it its sagittal shape. When fronds are poorly developed, the taxon is easily confused with small individuals of Asplenium scolopendrium. However, their ecology differs widely since Asplenium sagittatum is strictly confined to the Mediterranean and Macaronesia.
