Description
This species is from western and central Europe. A widespread species in most of Europe and the most frequently collected species in Greece. It occurs in meadows, pastures, along forest roads and forest margins, 1500-2350m altitude.

Botanical Description
This is a medium-sized to large, with flowering stems up to 30cm.
The leaves are reniform to orbicular, up to 12cm wide, with open sinus, glabrous above or rarely with sparse hairs in the folds, densely and evenly hairy beneath. It is lobed for 2/10-3/10, without incisions. There are 9-11 lobes, rounded to ovate. There are 6-9 teeth, subequal, rather wide, acute. The petioles are 24-40cm, with dense, patent hairs throughout, often erecto-patent at the base. The stems are with dense, patent, or at the lower 1-2 internodes erecto-patent, hairs up to the inflorescence branches.
The inflorescence is large, glabrous. The flowers are yellowish, small, in loose glomeruli, glabrous, rarely with sparse hairs at the base.
